NETWORKED TRANSPORTATION AGENT:
This is a unique position at Houg Special Services, designed for veterans in the transportation industry.
Using their own resources, Agents accept and broker their own loads from their location while utilizing Houg Special Service's system and administrative support.
In order to be considered as an Agent for Houg Special Services, you must have:
Multiple years of experience in the Shipping/Transportation Industry;
A wide knowledge base and experience in Freight Brokerage;
Familiarity with DOT Regulations;
Customer service experience;
Sales background/experience;
Detail oriented;
Excellent communication skills;
Negotiation skills;
Minimal computer experience;
Computer with the ability to establish a remote network connection; and
Enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
Agents work strictly on a commission basis.
